SAY AAAAHHHHH

So...Delaney had her very first dentist appointment (in January...sorry been busy) and it went way better than expected! Let me start by complimenting the dentist office. We went to Leblanc and Jenkins out here by us on Shawnee Mission Parkway and Hilltop. We walked in to what seemed to be the office of fairy tales. They have a starbucks coffee machine for the parents and tons of games for the kiddos to play to make them forget why they're there! It was fabulous! Two of my kids found their way to the Wii and a few others...like Father like Daughter! We didn't have to wait long...which was a sad story cause they could have played ALL DAY! So we went back to the first private room and met the dentist, he was AWESOME! He was gentle and kind and friendly. I was very impressed. Delaney was nervous, but was a very big girl! Then they took her over for some "pictures" (x-rays) She did pretty good here too, one of the things she needed to bite on hurt her mouth so they stopped, said it was no big deal, they'd just do it when she was 5! My dentist never does that....if it hurts...TOO BAD!!! After the xrays she was into the open room for her cleaning. She watched Horton Hears a Who while she got her pearly whites shined up! It was great.

At the end as a reward for being so good she got a token to get a prize out of the machine, a balloon, a goodie bag with a toothbrush, tooth paste and floss sticks. AND SAVING THE BEST FOR LAST>>>>> She got ice cream!!! They have thier own ice cream machine in there! I totally want to switch dentist offices! All I ever get is a lousy toothbrush!!!! It was so much fun. Jason and I were so proud of our big girl, she was such a trooper and her teeth were perfect!!! He had no concerns and says all of her big girl teeth should come in great!
