Thoughts needed this Thursday...

My brother-in-law, Corey Stamm, was just diagnosed this evening with Multiple Schlorosis. He had some vision problems a couple of years ago that just kind of lingered, but he didn't think anything of it. Then about 2 weeks ago he was riding his four-wheeler while his youngest son Gage followed along. He wrecked his four wheeler and broke 2 vertabrea (Sp??). He hasn't been right since. Well last night when I got of of class I saw that my phone had several missed calls from my sister. So I called her back and she asked me if I could take Corey to the ER. She was stuck at her second job but was concerned because Corey had called and was slurring his speech and was very hard to understand. So I rushed out to Bucyrus....needless to say my day started with a 3 mile walk with mom and Gage, work for 9 hours, school for 1.5 hours and now this...So I get to Bucyrus pick him and Wyatt (his oldest son) up and head to Saint Luke's South. On the way there he mentioned numbness in his right side of his body, apparently a feeling he's had a couple of different times in the past month...even before the accident. They wouldn't let me go back with him because I wasn't his spouse. So Wyatt and I waited as paitently as we could in the lobby. I tried my hardest to keep his little six year old mind from worrying. Poor guy, all he wanted was to go back and see his dad. Finally Kimberly found coverage at work and met us at the hospital. After all of the tests they ran they decided to admit him with the possiblity of mini strokes, MS or seizures. Today they did an EEG, EKG, an esophogas test and a battery of other tests, and the neurologist concluded that he does have MS. Please pray for him, my sister, and their two young sons. As they spend the next few months adjusting to and learning about MS.
Just goes to show that we aren't promised good health...or tomorrow!

OH my gosh, Royal. That is horrible! I will say a prayer for them and let them know I am thinking of them.
