I'm so excited!

Reason #1:
We went to the doctor yesterday and we had our sonogram! We did not find out what we're having which I'm so happy about. Even if we would have wanted to know we wouldn't have gotten to...just because baby was sitting indian style on my bladder! So it's an omen, we weren't supposed to know! Baby is doing great! It weighs 14 ounces and is nine inches long. This is the first time with all three of my pregnancies that I have had a sonogram this far along and found that the baby was measuring normal! With both of my other kiddos the sonograms showed that the babies sizes were 1-2 weeks more along than my acutal gestational age. Which in the end meant two bigger babies! Delaney was 8 pounds 0.7 ounces and Garrett was 9 pounds 7 ounces....and they were both early! This time I am basically 22 weeks along and the baby is measuring 20 weeks and 4 days! I might actually get to go into labor and not be induced with this one!
Reason #2:
Also while at the doctor yesterday they weighed me. This is always the part I hate, even though I know I have to gain, I don't want to gain more than I need. So she told me I was up two pounds. So total weight gain for this pregnancy is 12 pounds in 5 and 1/2 months! That is AWESOME!!! I'm so happy, all my walking and 5K's have made a huge difference, that and I just eat healthy as if I'm still on Weight Watchers! I know I will continue to gain and the baby gets all of their fat at the end, so if I gain 1 pound it gets .5 of it...Either way it's all worth it for our third little bundle of joy~
Reason #3:
I get tomorrow off!!! Yeah Veteran's Day! Thank you to all of you troops, active, retired, alive, dead, wounded! I appreciate you and your fighting for my freedom! And I appreciate the day off of work!!! Happy Tuesday!
