Saturday morning I did a 5K with my co-worker Shannon. This particular 5K was AWESOME! We were raising money for the Elmwood Cemetary in KCMO, it's very old and very cool! Lots of history there, and lots of big names from KC's hitory. People were encouraged to dress in costume...Shannon (my co-worker) joked she was an athlete...cause she's not typically and I just threw on my Harley sweats, Harley Hoodie and a Harley hat and called it good. =) It was beautiful weather and there were lots of great costumes...see below! My goal has been to do one 5K per month and I still walk with my mom 3 days a week 3 miles per time. So this baby better be healthy! Next month it's a course through Shawnee Mission Park!! Better not dress up as a deer...somebody might shoot me! LOL
