Today was Delaney's Christmas party at school! She had a blast! They did a craft, had party snacks and played games! I always loved party days when I wasn in school. My favorite part was always when my Mom was there with me (she had to pace herself between 3 kids classrooms...) So I was glad to be there for Delaney today! And you could tell she loved having me there! I LOVE that feeling! I have the best kids ever! But I'm sure every mom says that! =)
Today was also her last day of school for 17 days! =) Wow is she EXCITED about that! It's like a Christmas miracle in her world! Jason took off all next week to spend some quality time with just Delaney!

Well, I will say this... think long and hard before becoming the room mother. It is 2 am on the day before the party and Jason and I are just going to bed! This is my second year doing it and I must say... If I was not suggested t the teacher for room mother by another teacher I would have been content standing on the sidelines!
There really isn't anything better than being in school and getting to have a holiday party, especially knowing that once it's over you get to go home for 2 weeks! I have great memories from those days. I'm glad you got to be a part of Delaney's party!
