
Delaney, today I write this blog post to you. So that some day soon when you can read (beyond site words) you'll know and understand how much I love you and just SOME of the reasons why!
I loved you in the beginning because:
You were my first pregnancy~You were my first child~You were my first baby girl~Your perfect little face~Your tiny little toes~You making our family grow~Your smile~How you slept on your tummy with your butt in the air~All of the cute clothes having you allowed me to buy~=)~The way you looked at me like you knew I was your mom and that I loved you~Your first sounds~Your first words~Watching you scoot, and then crawl~Learning to walk~You were such a good sleeper~You were potty trained at 9 months!!!~You were so cuddly~You were independent~You were a big FLIRT~You loved going out in public cause you got all kinds of attention~
I loved you later because:
You were a natural leader~Your laugh was contagious~You made friends with everyone~You loved babies just like me~You were a GREAT big sister to Garrett~You were a dare devil...one word DECK~You loved books~You were still a good sleeper~You followed directions~You loved bath time~You loved swimming~You loved swinging at the park~You gave really big bear hugs~You helped take care of Garrett~You stole your daddy's heart~You started pre-school (and I cried and cried and cried)~You loved your teachers and they loved you~You were smart~You were eager to learn~You had perfect attendance~You graduated preschool (and I cried and cried and cried)~You learned to ride a two wheeler~You could count to 100~You knew Spanish and sign language~You loved to sleep in my bed every chance you got~I'd sneak in and tell you I loved you over and over again while you slept~You were great at T-ball~You were exctied for Kindergarten!~
I love you now because:
You're still my little girl~You have the most contagious laugh ever~You are honest~You look out for the little guy (Harrison)~You still watch over Garrett~You have grown into a great little girl~You LOVE kindergarten and Mrs. Smith~You're Stacie's favorite at day care~You light up a room with your smile~You love to read books~You love singing Sammy the Worm with me~You are excited to be a big sister all over again~You constantly feel my tummy to see how baby is doing~You love Harleys just like me and love going for rides~You love playing games as a family~You're a great help in the kitchen~You help me dust the house~You love sponge bob, even if I don't!~You have a great smile and perfect teeth~You love going to the dentist~You've lost two of your front baby teeth on the bottom and look so grown up~You are a good listener~You have a HUGE heart~You can brighten my day when it's been bad~You would wait up for me on nights I had class which meant the world to me~You are just like me~You are strong~You are fast~You are a friend~You are sweet~You have the same middle name as my FAVORITE uncle Roman so that makes you that much cooler~You are still a great sleeper~You still have Daddy's heart & Mine~
Basically all I want to say is I LOVE YOU DELANEY with all my heart, and I don't ever want you to think that I don't. If you ever need anything or just need someone to talk to, I'm here. And I'll listen and not say anything back if you want. I will not judge. I am your mom and your friend. Have a good day Honey!
