Bummed

I'm a little bummed today. I was supposed to go to see Dr. Piquard yesterday at 3:30, I left work at about 3 just so I could be a little more cautious on my way there because of the snow. I didn't make it half way down the street when I got a call saying not to come in, Piquard was in a C-section. Seriously? I look forward to my baby doctor visits...hearing the heartbeat, sharing my excitement...Guess none of that was going to happen. They offered next week but I told them that wouldn't work I wanted to keep my schedule I was supposed to have so I could have appointments on two of my days off in January and February. So now I don't go back until January 18 (when I'm off work, and Delaney is off of school so she'll get to come too!) Another week and a half of waiting to go seems like an eternity. Oh well! By the time she sees me again I'll be 31 1/2 weeks along! That's something to look forward to! Only 70 days or less now until this little one enters our life outside of my body! =) =) =)
