So last night (Super Bowl Sunday) I had "real" contractions for most of the Super Bowl into the late night. I never really said much to Jason, but he could tell by my pattern of breathing that something was "up." They were about 12-15 minutes apart for most of the evening. The best it got was 7 minutes apart for 3 consecutive contractions, but in the end they fizzled out. Obviously as of today no baby! We are only 38 days (at most) away from being finished with this pregnancy.
There are times where I am SO looking forward to it being over, but I don't really think that's an accurate statement...I'm looking forward to knowing what I've carried for 9 months, I'm looking forward to meeting this little person. I'm not looking forward to a big tummy and no baby inside. I'm not looking forward to not feeling my baby move, flip and kick inside me (as painful as it is). I'm not looking forward to not having the excuse that none of my clothes fit because I'm pregnant!
I am excited however to be off of work for 12 weeks with all 3 of my kids! Then I've decided to go back to work only regular part time after I have the baby. So in June when I return it will only be for about 4 hours a day 5 days a week! In addition to spending more time with all of my kids I'll be saving A TON of money (all this will be a separate post) =)
