I am over the snow! I'm over the frigid temperatures. I'm over the strong cold winds that feel as though they blow right through me! Yes snow is pretty, but I hate driving in it! And really, let's be honest here, we've had more snow this year than in like 30-40 years...so ENOUGH already!
I'm ready for green grass, buds on tree branches, flowers, heck even dandelions at this point. Anything but snow! The road we live on is "gravel" well it used to be "gravel" at this point it's just swamp, all the gravel has washed away leaving mud that freezes easily or thaws and requires 4 wheel drive just to get off of it!
I'm ready for the warmer temps that come and stay! So mom and I can take our morning walks again! I want to hear birds chirping and see people outside washing their cars...not shoveling 2 feet of snow!
I'm hopeful! I know the groundhog saw his shadow, which means six more weeks of winter...but I'm hopeful that Spring will arrive and will be as glorious as I remember from 2009!
