(THAT IS NOT MY BOOB...I WAS STILL WEARING MY PINK BRA!!!) LOL
The day finally came, a day I was starting to think would never come. Lucy's birthday! March 10, 2010 our little girl (well, not too little) at 1:17pm. She weighed in at 8.9 pounds and was 19 and 3/4 inches long. She was beautiful. Our plan worked, Jason was the one that got to announce the sex of our long awaited bundle of joy! I was SHOCKED. I really had told myself it was going to be a boy...I heard "It's a Girl" and I just cried (tears of joy) I couldn't hold them back! I was so proud to have another girl and to be able to name her after a person so important to me in my life. Great Grandma Lucy!
Here is Lucy's birth story!
We arrived at Shawnee Mission Medical Center at 7am. Dr. Piquard came and broke my water at 8:48am. There was SO much water in there! Seriously the gurth of my stomach reduced tremendously after ALL of that water came out! I felt better already. I had potossin running through my veins from 8am until she arrived! I had my epidural at about noon. Finally I felt ready to push. I started to push the first time, and was really not pushing, more like laughing at mom and Kimberly...when the nurse said...1, 2, 3, there's a baby in there, 7, 8, 9 we better get the doctor. So then Dr. Piquard came in and she said okay lets push this baby out. She said, 1, 2, 3, okay keep doing what your doing, 9, 10...before I knew it Jason was announcing the sex!! Just like that it was all over!
She was (is) perfect! She's a wonderful sleeper! The last two nights shes had a bottle at 12:30 and then slept till 6:45am!!! I love her! She's a great addition to our family!!!

Absolutely precious, Royal! And already a good sleeper?! You need to remove your pregnancy countdown from your page.
Congrats again! Can't wait to meet her.
Royal, she is beautiful. I told you before how much I love the name Lucy so I was almost sure it was a girl.
As for the easy delivery... my doctor told me that baby #3 slides right out. Caleb was 10lbs 13oz and labor with him was a piece of cake.
Congrats!!!
Absolutely adorable! Congratulations!
