Mother's Day

This year was my first mother's day as a mommy of three! Three is A LOT, on most days I feel as though I've accomplished nothing, yet I look around and obviously things are getting done... On those same days I realize just how lucky I am to have these three GREAT kids.
Delaney
Delaney is so smart so caring and has a huge heart just like her momma. She loves school (which makes me happy) she plays well with Garrett and is mom number two to Lucy. She helps sort laundry and fold laundry and will do just about anything I ask her to. She is a good eater she'll try anything once. She is growing so fast. She'll be out of Kindergarten in just a couple of weeks and is so ready for first grade. It's hard to believe my first baby EVER is almost a first grader! WOW

Garrett
Garrett is in love with Lucy. He is smart and he's so FUNNY. He has music in his heart cause he's always moving and grooving. He is excited for summer and playing on the trampoline in the sprinkler. He is also ready for fall so he can start Pre-school. He is such a big boy. He's decided we're going to see Toy Story 3 for his 4th birthday on June 14...I cannot believe he's going to be four!!! He wakes up in the mornings and runs straight to Lucy to snuggle her he kisses on her and hugs her and loves her as much now as he did the day they first met! He's a wonderful middle child cause he's great at being little brother and being bossed by Delaney, yet he's a protector of Lucy and makes sure she's always smiling!

Lucy
Lucy may be small right now and we may still be just getting to know one another. But she has a lot to live up to! My Great Grandma Lucy was one of the most generous and loving souls I've ever been blessed to love! Little Lucy is already living up to her name! She is a wodnerful baby and IF she is our LAST she'll be a great ending to our baby story! She is a snuggler, a smiley and happy baby. She loves to be held and kissed, which is good for me, cause I could kiss and kiss and kiss her all day long! I'm like Elmira on Looney toons! She is already almost 9 weeks old and getting so big. She almost rolled over a couple of days ago. I'm not ready for all of that. I like my little babies!

My day started with Jason making me and the kiddos french toast and bacon. Then we just hung around the house until about 1pm. Then we headed out to the Denton's farm for some dirt bike and four wheeler riding. Lucy and I stayed down track with Barb, Wylie, Wylie Joe, Jaime and Ryan. It was a nice day, only a little chilly, but we had a great day away! Sometimes it's just nice to get away from phones and TV and such and enjoy the great outdoors. That night Jason made dinner and we had the kids bathed and in bed by 7! Lucy slept till 5:30!!! She's WONDERFUL! All in all it was at wonderful first mother's day as a mom of 3!

Now we prepare for our first family vacation to BRANSON this weekend! =) I cannot wait!!!!!!!
