~~SIX MONTH UPDATE~~

It's hard to believe my "baby" is already half way to a year old! Time is really flying by and my "baby" is a little less of a "baby" every day! I want to cherish all of the time I get with my kiddos, all three of them. And if this is our last baby, I want to soak it all in. Cause I know that in a few years when I look back I'm gonna want to just hold my babies again...the older they all get the less they'll let me hold them.


This is Lucy "eating" at Blanc Burgers & Bottles (the bottle part is fitting) last weekend!

What Lucy is up to these days:
* She has her two bottom teeth
* She says "ma ma" and "ba ba" and "da da"
* She scoots and crawls
* She rolls from tummy to back and vise verse
* She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks like a crazy lady
* She loves being outside (has since she was tiny)
* She squeals when Delaney's bus pulls up in the afternoons!
* She smiles and laughs at most anything, she's so happy!
* She still gets spoiled by her big sister and brother on a daily basis
* She is just starting meats into her diet (we'll see how that goes)
* She is 27 inches long
* She weighs 18.2 pounds
* She loves to be read to
* She sleeps from 8pm-6am every night
* She loves to swing in her outside swing
* She's too big for her baby swing now
* We lowered her crib down since she's so mobile so she wouldn't fall out!


Moments I don't want to forget:

* Lucy was really cranky one afternoon, which is unlike her so I tried laying her in her crib, that was NOT working. So I picked her up and took her to my bed to lay with her (which I typically refuse to do...) She just laid there and smiled at me and grabbed at my necklace and face. So I rocked her a bit (which I also refuse to do...most times) and within minutes she was asleep. She slept for 6 hours. Guess she just wanted me to spoil her and go against my better judgement! I laid there with her for 40 minutes just kissing her and smelling her hair and whispering in her ear!

* Garrett tells Lucy he misses her every morning when she wakes up. He says "why can't you sleep in my bed Lucy, cause I miss you when I sleep!"

* Lucy pooped in the bath tub while bathing with Delaney! It was the funniest thing ever! Lucy had no idea anything had happened and Delaney was on the Verge of throwing up while trying to escape the tub as quickly as possible!


To Lucy:
Dear Lucy,
You are a wonderful baby girl, and are so sweet and cuddly! You know how to make me and your daddy smile! Your looks are gonna be trouble cause you're just so pretty! You are so smart and are learning new tricks every day! We love you so much and if you are our last baby, then you are doing a great job of letting us end on a GREAT note!!!
