Well my not so little guy is gearing up for turning 5. With turning 5 comes the time to say goodbye to preschool, goodbye to nap time and goodbye to some friends he's made over the past year.
With saying goodbye to the old he'll be saying hello to the new. The new of Kindergarten! Kindergarten can be an exciting place, with new friends, a new teacher, a bathroom in the classroom, your own desk, new toys, and a new playground!
But I also know that Kindergarten can be a scary place, an unfamiliar place and can cause some anxiety! I hope that Garrett steps right up to the challange.
Wednesday night just him and I loaded up in the truck and went to the Kingergarten Round-up. There were LOTS of papers to fill out, LOTS!!! They introduced the two Kindergarten teachers and we signed up for JCPRD. All in all it took about an hour, but I was glad to just have him there without the sisters to look, listen and absorb what will become his new surroundings!
