My emotions lately are similar to that of a roller coaster! I am over the moon happy for family and friends having babies...at the same time I'm overly anxious and nervous about one of my babies stepping into a new world of Kindergarten. I am so nervous for him because he is so much like Jason!!! LOL Sure we all look back when we're older and remember Kindergarten as a great thing, but when you're barely 5 and getting thrown in...it can be scary. I still remember my little brother starting kindergarten and how much he cried and how much my mom cried (which I thought was silly then...NOT anymore).
Then my emotions go back to joyous as I think about my best friend Suzy getting married after all of the bad relationships and all of the sad days for her, she has finally met her "MATCH" I am honored to be her M.O.H and stand right beside her as she starts this journey of marriage!!! So happy tears will be shed here!
I also struggle with trying to decide if we should or shouldn't have another baby. We for sure don't want one right now, or nine months from now. But we wonder if we should stick with the original plan of four! Even numbers!! We think about dumb stuff like, if we're at a carnival or SDC the kids will need a buddy to ride with if we only have three someone is left out or has to go twice! I also really wish I could have another boy for Garrett. I would feel bad for him if we had yet another girl and he was even more out numbered! LOL Although I know a few good men that were pretty outnumbered as kids that turned into great dads, husbands and friends thanks to all of those ladies around!! The emotions I feel here are weighted! I love my family as it sits I would not trade any of my children, but I always in the back of my mind wonder what one more...just one more would do for us! I always wonder what they would look like and things of that nature!
The week of August 15 will be a crazy one!
Monday-Delaney begins 2nd grade (hardly seems possible)
Wednesday-Garrett begins Kindergarten
Thursday-rehearsal for Suzy's wedding
Friday-Royal's game with entire wedding party
Saturday-Suzy's wedding at 4:30!
Sunday-I may just sleep the day away!!
