E is for Easter

We are in full on Easter mode right now!

A few weeks back the kids and I decorated the trees in our yard (and neighbor Jack's) with Easter eggs and ribbon.

Last week I made paper bunnies with cotton tails to hang from our mantle in the living room.

Tuesday night I took the three kiddos to Candie's house for some fun Easter pics with baby chicks...baby chicks that Garrett wanted to bring home. It didn't help that Candie and Kurt both said the chicks were coming to live with us...Garrett believed that he was devastated when we left and the chicks stayed behind! I told him Candie had more pics to take with the chicks and that we really didn't have room for 6 chicks, we're not prepared for chicks. We have lots of coyotes in our back yard at night and our poor chicks would be dinner! Either way Garrett had fun holding and touching the chicks, something my girls refused to do! Delaney prefers large animals, Lucy just didn't like them! LOL

We've got our Easter outfits picked out.

Saturday we'll color Easter eggs at GG's house during our marathon party day...
We have Kolton's 1st birthday from 11-1 and Gerri and Emerald's house warming at 3 so between those two we'll be dying eggs!

Sunday we will have a visit from the Easter Bunny at our house, before the kids wake up. When they wake up they will go through all of their goodies. Then Sunday afternoon we'll head to GG's for the annual Easter Egg hunt and search for the GOLDEN EGG!!!

Easter is sure to be a FUN time this year now that all three of my kids know what's going on! =)

E is for Easter!!
