Q is for Quiet

Quiet time in our house is few and far between. There seems to always be some sounds penetrating through our house.

*Impact from the shop
*Kids laughing
*Rattle balls in spray paint shaking up and down
*Power washer
*Lawn mower
*Weed Eater
*Someone crying
*TV
*iPad
*iPod
*Radio
*Washer
*Dryer
*Sizzling meat in a pan
*Microwave
*Dishwasher
*Kids talking
*Bath water splashing
*Showers running
*Toilets flushing
*Sprinkler watering
*Dog barking
*Car running
*Door knocking
*Door bell ringing
*Chalk drawing
*Trampoline springs squeaking
*Hammers hammering (New kid hammers, like woodpeckers on the playground)
*Bicycle tires skidding in the gravel

Needless to say peace and quiet comes very rarely!!! So when it does happen I try to soak it in 100%! Come this Saturday I will be getting a massage with my good friend Gerri for one whole hour then going to lunch with her KID FREE!! I am overly excited about this! Saturday night I have to co-host Larry's 60th Birthday party at the Krueger home, with my 3 kids, it will probably equal CRAZINESS!
