So this past weekend was my "single mom" weekend. Jason went to Oklahoma to ride four-wheelers with some old buddies. So I had the kiddos! Here is how our weekend went...try to keep up...I'll type s-l-o-w-l-y just in case! LOL!!! =)
Friday:
I had the day off of work Sooooooo-o
8:40 drop of Delaney at Kindergarten...that was super special!
9:00 drop of Garrett to Stacie
9:30 drop of two giant bags of girl clothes to my cousin for her daughter
9:40 breakfast at moms house! YUM!
10:30 spa pedicure (HEAVEN)
11:50 arrive at school to pick up Delaney here's the kicker!!! She got on the bus, why did she get on the bus, she knew I was picking her up!!! It gets worse! I call Stacie I tell her I'm pretty sure D just got on the bus. She decides to tell me then and only then that I have to call the school to tell them if I'm going to pick her up otherwise they make her get on the bus! Ouch. No one mentioned that and I knew she was gonna be PISSED! So I haul over to Stacie's and begin to freak out because the bus is usually there by 12:10 and it's now 12:20 and no bus. So I'm paniking thinking she's still at the school lost somewhere. No...finally the bus rounds the bend. Delaney hops off crying. The bus driver forgot her on the bus. Delaney had been telling her all week that Friday she was getting picked up by me. So she assumed D was picke up by me, but she had gotten on the bus directly behind the driver and the driver didn't see her until she was miles from Stacie's house. I felt horrible. But the driver felt even worse, she was crying, Delaney was crying. I held it together but man I wanted to cry too...Damn pregancny hormones. So needless to say I explained to Delaney that I would CALL ahead next time!
12:45 Legends for birthday shopping...gift for Bre (check) gift for Emerald (check)
1:40 Lunch at Panera
2:30 Home for naps
4:30 Pick up Garrett from Stacie
5:30 Shawnee BBQ with family and friends
8:30 Home for dinner, bath and bed
9:30 I'm asleep for the night!!!! =)
Saturday:
Wake up early, why not I was in bed at 9:30 the night before!
9:30 off to Overland Park Fall Festival
11:00 back home to grab helmet and birthday gifts.
11:45 drop off helmet to Shari, Shawn and Bre, put bre's hair in pig tails
12:00-3:00 Skate World for Bday party where I was the assistant as usual! LOL
3:00-9:00 House warming Party for Shawn and Shari with lots of family and friends, this was a great time. The kids all got along, there was great food and plenty of space for everyone to spread out!
9:30 home for bed time
Sunday:
Didn't wake up as early...all the running is slowly catching up.
12:00 head to Louisburg Cider Mill just me and the kiddos and camera
3:30 head home to see Daddy...kids were ready to see him! Ok I was too!
6:00 Dinner at in-laws for MIL bday
8:30 home for baths and bed
Whew. Sad part is next weekend is gonna be even worse....5K, wedding, baby shower, ect. Love you all!
