So yesterday Jason and I headed up to the doctor's office for our 34 week visit. I gained 5 more pounds (in ONLY 2 weeks), so the nurse laughed and said "you were right...this is when your babies start to turn into elephants." =) BP was great, everything else was normal. I told her I was glad that I've been experiencing so many Braxton Hicks contractions...maybe, just maybe I'd get to go into labor and not be induced. I was pretty quickly shot down. She confirmed that we will in fact be having a 36 week ultrasound at our next appointment (February 17 @ 1:00pm). And after that we'll see our Doc. Doc will probably schedule the dreaded induction at that point for 38 weeks if not sooner depending on the size of my elephant!!! LOL
She could tell I was disappointed...I really want to have this baby like everybody else...or so I thought. She was quick to remind me that if I wait for my body to be "ready" to deliver the baby could be TOO big to pass through the canal and I would instead have to have an emergency C-section! UMMMM NO!!! If I have to chose between being induced or having my abdomen sliced open I'll take the induction any day! I did ask her if we could just start by breaking my waters and seeing if my body starts contractions on it's own... She said we'll play it by ear and see how everything works out. Honestly it's the pitossen (sp) I don't want to have!!
So anyway we're either 44 days away from baby #3 or 29 days!!!
We'll know A LOT more after the sonogram on the 17th! So two more weeks till the next update!!!

I know how badly you want this to happen on it's own Roy, but everything happens for a reason! There is still a chance it could...but no matter what.... or how....I am sooooooooo excited to meet my new little niece or nephew!! Love you!!
