And I am living proof.
There are days (sometimes lots of days) where you feel like a fish in a bowl, swimming the same circle day in and day out. With the same view, same food, same water, same rocks...
Then there are days where you feel "different" where you look at life like wow, this is real. This is me, my family, my house, my job, my kids, my husband, my marriage, my life! And wow do I have a lot to be thankful for!
There are days where there is great sadness as you think of those you've lost along the way. I know I've lost some great loved ones in 28 years of life. I know that they would not want me to be sad when I think of them being gone, yet to be happy knowing that we got the time together that we did!
There are days when I stop and think 28 isn't that old...heck just 10 years ago I was a senior in highschool. But other times I think maybe it is old...becuase 10 years from now, ten years from today I'll be 2 years away from turning 40!! :0
Most days, days like today, even though it is snowing AGAIN, even though I have a sick daughter and a sick husband, even though I didn't get much sleep last nigth since I'm 8 1/2 months pregnant, even though it's my birhtday and I'm at work, I stop and I think A LOT CAN HAPPEN IN 28 YEARS! 28 years from now I'll be 56 and I'll look back and laugh that I ever considered 28 "old."
As for now I'll create a memory list. This is a list of the things I remember most in my 28 years of life here on Earth!!!

Thank you! Thank you for being simply YOU! Thank you for being friends with Candie so that I may know you now. Even though if you got lost in the woods with Jesse(by the way I want more details, he was mine first), knew Pam, I so knew you already but not in this light. Not in the way you shine now! That is what 28 years does to you Royal! It didnt make you old.. it built you, it made you strong and wise and most of all fun and sincere! I got sad as I read some of the above and then I laughed at the next ones. Like I have said before you are amazing woman of many strengths. Even if you do think 28 might be old know that even at 56 you will be forever and always young at heart. Happy Birthday!
Royal you really are such a wonderful person and I'm glad to say I know you. I'm glad we meet through the Moore family, we too have very fond memories with them. You are a shining star and have accomplished a lot in your short 28 years! I laughed and cried at some of your memories, thanks for sharing! Here's to another 28 years. Happy Birthday!
