First Weigh In

Friday (yesterday) was my first official weigh in with Weight Watchers and the new Points Plus Program. The new program is very different from the old program. Not only can you eat all fruit and most vegetables without counting them (they're zero) but the way they determine the points in your food is different. So the books, slider, and other paperwork I still have from the last go round (before Lucy) won't work.

So I am starting all over but also starting fresh. I have to learn all of the program information and calculate EVERYTHING! I have to take the time to plan out every bite that goes in so I can keep better track of the pounds on the scale!

I am hopeful and optimistic that this new updated program will work as effectively if not better than the last one. I have set my initial goal small. 30 pounds. But in all reality I need to lose at least double that!

I have to be in Suzy's wedding as her maid of honor in August and I really want the dress to fit me "right" and fit my body like it will fit everyone Else's!

This weeks worst moment: Having one of the other bride maids refer to my butt as a big ol butt. (she didn't mean it offensively)

This weeks best moment: Taking the first step, walking in, weighing in, and starting my journey to weight loss!
