Garrett's 6th Birthday!

This year was a milestone year for Garrett. He decided to have a school friend birthday party instead of all of his regular friends and family. I was kind of sad about it because the birthday parties with my friends are as much fun for me as they are for him. But, he's six now and it's his party so he can do it his own way. It took him about a month to decide between Pump it Up and Emerald City. Finally Emerald City won. We love this place. We've been to about a half dozen other parties there and always enjoy it! We sent an evite out to all of his friends from school. As the RSVP's came in he got more and more excited! He really couldn't wait to see all of his friends that he hadn't seen in about a month! All in all 12 out of 17 kids were able to attend! We had the party on Saturday, June 16 from 3 to 4:30pm. It was a farm theme since Garrett loves to visit the chickens at my work and loves all animals! The kids got to do a running obstacle course, a giant 3 person swing, jump on trampolines, climb, slide, zip line, rope swing into the giant foam pit, and SO MUCH MORE!!! You are a lover of all things furry! You are polite, you are brave, you are smart, you are funny. You are very creative and have a brain like your daddy! You can take things apart and put them back together again just like him! You are one tooth shy of a full mouth! =) You are excited yet anxious about starting 1st grade this fall! You are a VERY picky eater, still eating mostly breakfast foods and the occasional grilled cheese or mac and cheese! You love swimming and playing outside. You love to ride your bike or your battery powered toys. You are my only son. You have my heart! I love you! Love, Mommy!
