Lucy

Lucy has a large vocabulary lately. She says all kinds of cute things: She'll shake your hand and say "how are you?" If you ask her how old she is she'll say "I'm Lucy and I'm 2" while doing so she'll show you two fingers on each hand proudly! She can count, she loves to count things all of the time. She doesn't always get it right and the kids like to correct her, but she's pretty good for 2! When I tuck her in at night she'll say "Mommy, I want you" I melt. And I"ll stop whatever chores I'm doing to just snuggle with her, even if it's for 5 minutes. She'll "want" me less and less as she grows so I jump at the chance to hold her and breathe her in! If I lay down in my bed at night and she gets up to go potty she'll almost always come to our room to use our potty. When she leaves she'll say: "Goodnight Mommy, sweet dreams, love you, see you in the morning" EVERY TIME! I love that!!! She loves to 'read' she'll look through picture books and pick out the objects that she recognizes. She's always so proud of herself, and so am I! I have 3 smart kiddos and that makes me so proud as a mama! The kids play car games in the car. If they see a yello car they will yell Bingo, if they see a PT cruiser they yell PT Cruiser and if they see a slug bug they yell slug bug. Lucy does this too, only the difference is this: The kids will say it when they see the vehicle. Lucy....she just yells it out at random! Makes me chuckle everytime! Lucy also loves to dance, she can shake it like no other! Every now and then she'll come up to you and say "Dance wif me!" =) I love all of the words Lucy says! =)
