Larry Update

I like to believe that no news is good news. But in this case... Not so much. After almost a month of dealing with this awful news of "CANCER" we have finally heard the words NO ONE wants to hear. Larry's cancer is STAGE 4. The Doctors are giving him 1-3 years. 1-3 years!!! Really? All I can think about is how young my children could be if they lost their Grandpa in 1-3 years. 3, 7 & 9.... 4, 8 & 10..... or maybe if we're lucky, REALLY LUCKY... 5, 9 & 11. Being 30 years old, Having been with Jason for 15 years. Having a child that's 8 years old... You start to put perspective on years and how fast they go by. One year seems like a minute, two years seems like an hour and three years seems like just a week when you look back. It's hard to digest news like this. It's even harder to watch your husband digest news like this, it is afterall his Dad. We will keep fighting. Larry has his 3rd round of Chemo today. Then he gets a week off. He will begin his next round around October 8th. They are hoping to do a scan at that time to see if we are on an uphill climb or a downhill battle. I'm praying with all of my might that it's a downhill battle. Please Pray.
