Healthy Habits Day 2 (Thursday)

Today I started my morning a bit sore from Body Pump last night! I was feeling the burn if you will!

I also started my day by signing up for the Maintain Don't Gain Holiday Challenge at work. There are prizes for people that don't gain weight between November 20 and January 7th. There is also a prize for the male and female that lose the most weight during the time frame. I don't see myself winning for losing the most but I do see myself being able to not gain for the 6 weeks!

Breakfast: Oatmeal

Lunch: Salad with ham 1 c. cottage cheese

Dinner: Large bowl of fruit loops 2 slices of toast
(Dinner didn't happen until 8:30 and by that time I was in cardiac arrest STARVING! Fruit loops never tasted so good!)

Activity:
Walked for 25 minutes at lunch
1 hour skyrobics session with Kimberly.
Ended up knowing Christi, Judy and Becky as well. So it gave me more motivation to keep going! If it were just Kimberly and I, I could have sat out more! But instead I only took one 3 minute break in the session, where I literally had to stand on the sidelines with my water and just train my lungs to breathe! I was about to DIE!!!! I also didn't jump the arena challenges as fast or as hard as some of the veterans! As a newby it takes some time to learn coordination and where and when to jump on the trampolines to make it from one end to the other in the arena without falling on your face! It was seriously one of the HARDEST things I've ever done in my life! I felt like I had just run a marathon when it was over. My lungs and my heart were screaming out in pain! Thank GOD I'm not a smoker or I may have ended up 6 feet under! Everyone said the first time is the hardest! I am going to believe them, and I will do Skyrobics again. Just maybe not on a Thursday night following a Body Pump class. Delaney has volleyball practice on Tuesday nights, but I may just have to send her with Jason and that way I can go on Tuesday and get my cardio ass kicking before I do the weight lifting at Body Pump...either way they're still back to back though! UGH! Either way I did it! I have had two great days in being healthy! I've eaten better, not perfect, but better for my standards. I have been active and I have achieved personal goals I set in place for myself! For me that is a win! I also posted a picture of myself only on Instagram, not FB for me to see the difference each week as I go! I am not an idiot. I know that the first few weeks the pictures won't really look much different. But I will feel better, sleep better and breathe easier so that will be my motivation to keep going!!!
I posted my efforts on FB last night and it sounds like lots of people are willing to try to kill them selves along side me!  I hope it works out!  How much fun would it be to have a class full of only people you know!  LOL
